Emily was just our wedding photographer this October. It’s crazy to think she was technically just our photographer because we truly feel like she is one of our close friends. We met over a year before our wedding to take engagement pictures and right away we knew we found our photographer. She made us feel so comfortable and our pictures were absolutely stunning. We are both so awkward and truly just thought we would be going through the motions but instead we ended up having so much fun and didn’t want the shoot to end! Emily is so genuinely kind and open to any ideas we had but also brought a ton of suggestions and had her own inspo pictures she wanted to do. By the time it was our wedding we were so excited to see Emily again and our pictures turned out absolutely beautiful and exactly the vision we had in mind. Our pictures look timeless but also look very modern. Emily is up with the latest photography trends but also has the classic style that we wanted. Emily is the best of the best! She has done 2 photo shoots for us thus far and they have been nothing but amazing! Our first was a picnic photo shoot. Although Emily and I had been in the same photography class in college, I’m not super comfy in front of the camera, and neither was my boyfriend (now fiancé- more on that later). She made us feel so comfortable and made the shoot so much fun! She talked us through some of her visions and we made it happen through her expertise and guidance! Our second shoot was our proposal! Since my fiancé and I had so much fun with our first photo shoot and loved the photos, he decided to hire her for our proposal! It was such a special moment and we are so happy she was there to capture it! We never stop looking at them! We ended up using these photos on our save the dates and website as opposed to having another engagement shoot. Don’t think twice about booking Emily for a wedding, engagement, family shoot, or a couple’s shoot! She is such a kind soul and is amazing at what she does!
